Experience the Dark Dog Moto Tour adventure on two or three wheels !

Since the first ever Dark Dog Moto Tour in 2003, the scooter has been a part of it. We have become accustomed to seeing Yamaha T-Max, Gilera GP800 and Suzuki Burgmans showing up for the race. Well-known riders such as Etienne Godart, Dominique Sarron, Jacques Onda, Gilles Husson, Philippe Monneret, Yves Génies or Nicolas Dussauge have had their names engraved onto the trophies they have won in this category. Amateurs have also distinguished themselves there. Pierre Fredet is a prime example: second on a Yamaha T-Max in 2007, he gave an impressive performance on a Gilera GP800 in the Scooter category during the 2008 and 2009 Dark Dog Moto Tours.

For the 2012 event, the 10th outing of the biggest road rally, we have introduced some innovations! The Dark Dog Moto Tour is open this year not only to scooters but also to three-wheelers. At the Val-de-Reuil start line on 6th October, you will be able to see Piaggio MP3, Quadro and Can-Am. The great human and sporting adventure that is the Dark Dog Moto Tour is therefore now widely accessible to those who possess the category B driving licence. They will be able to experience an exceptional week, in true biker style, covering the 3000 km of the 2012 event. Two different classifications have been set up for the scooter and the three wheels category.

The Scuderia Team Moto on departure

The Scuderia Team Moto was born !

Created with the support Daniel Fleming, the boss of Scuderia Motorcycle, MV Agusta and Benelli dealership in Cuers (83), the team has two goals for 2012: shine in France Rally Championship and the 10th edition of the Dark Dog Moto Tour. Vezzuti Bruno, Jordi and Stephane Pascal Ponel have several Dark Dog Moto Tour in the wheels. Christian Dupuy and Michael Hautreux learned their craft on Toulon / Toulon.

All will be in the saddle of MV Agusta Brutale 1090R, Michael Hautreux except, who chose the new MV Brutale 675.
Businessmen of Var, this passionate group of friends managed by Daniel Fleming of Scuderia Moto which, in addition to special conditions of purchasing machinery, will support the team in October.
The MV Brutale had shone last year with Cedric Parmentier, the third of the Dark Dog Moto Tour 2011. Maybe it will still be the case in 2012.
